Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held Tuesday a meeting with a door-knock delegation from the Egyptian-American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo on means of attracting investments to the country. During the meeting with the delegation that will travel to Washington on April 14-20 in the framework of an annual visit to the US, Qandil said the future of investments in Egypt is promising as the country has all economic and human potentials to attract foreign investments. Qandil also reviewed the challenges facing Egypt during the current period, mainly the economic hardships and policies followed by the government to revitalize the economy. The government is committed to ensuring the necessary guarantees to hold fair parliamentary elections, Qandil said, reiterating the government\'s keenness on building a real democracy in the country. \"Egypt is in need of efforts of all its citizens along with support of its trade partners,\" he said. Present at the meeting were Investment Minister Osama Saleh, and Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Hatem Saleh.
