Qatar chamber and Taiwanese cusinessmen delegation

Qatari Businessmen delegation met here on Wednesaday with their taiwanese counterpart to explore means of enhancing joint cooperation in various commercial fields, Qatar Chamber Director- General Remy Rowhani . Remy Rowhani said the visit of the Taiwanese delegation rerpresents an opportunity to enhance ties of joint cooperation expressing the hope the visit of the said delegation would help double the joint cooperation and strengthen bonds between the two sides for the interest of the economies of the two countries. For his part, Daniel Lian, the head of the Taiwanese delegation hoped to strengthen the partnership between his country and the State of Qatar in the areas of multilateral trade, and that the result of this meeting for establishing bilateral partnerships between Taiwanese companies and their Qatari counterparts which would result in extending the bonds of joint work between the two sides.  The Qatari exports to Taiwan reached during the last year about QRs. 19 billion, 228 million , while Taiwanese imports from Qatar about QRs.636, 553,000, during the year 2012. The Taiwanese delegation consisted of businessmen and representatives of government agencies and private enterprise specializing in the areas of solar energy. Speaking on the occasion, Rowhani said, \"Qatar Chamber looks forward to strengthening cooperation and genuine partnership between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts from Taiwan we hope that this meeting was an opportunity to define the country’s business community with Taiwanese counterpart.
