Romney releases more tax details

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will file his 2011 tax returns Friday, his campaign said, adding that the Romneys paid an effective tax rate of 14.1 percent on $13.6 million in income. The campaign also said a tax summary will be released showing the Romneys paid taxes for each of the past 20 years at an average effective rate of 20.2 percent, and that the lowest tax rate during that period was 13.6 percent.
