Runway Global is recalling about 820 girls' coats with drawstrings that pose a strangulation hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday. The recall involves three styles of Sugarfly brand hooded coats made of a cotton and woven polyester blend. The coats were sold exclusively at Burlington Coat Factory outlets from September 2011 thorough September 2013 for about $40. The coats under recall include the KMCBJ255, which is olive-colored with a zipper closure and six front pockets, four with buttons and two with zippers, the KMCBJ410, which is a belted, double-breasted jacket and the KMCBJ421, which is fuchsia or purple and has a button closure, plus snaps on the pockets. The coats were imported from China by Runway Fashions of New York City. Consumers were advised to take the garments away from children. They can be returned to Burlington Coat Factory for a full refund or the drawstrings can be removed for safe wearing. Consumers can call 855-248-1566 for information.
