The foreign ministers of South Korea and Singapore agreed Friday to strengthen industrial ties and boost people-to-people exchanges by promoting cooperation in culture, tourism and consular services, Seoul\'s foreign ministry said. South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan and his Singaporean counterpart Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam held bilateral talks in Seoul. The ministry said in a statement relayed by Yonhap news agency today that the south korean -singaporean talks addressed a wide range of issues such as increasing exchanges between senior officials, the economy and trade, culture, and regional and global issues, including the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
