South Korea\'s automobile production rose 7.1 percent on-year last month on strong overseas demand that more than offset a significant drop in domestic sales, the government said Monday. The country\'s five automakers, led by industry leader Hyundai Motor Co. and its affiliate Kia Motors Corp, produced 414,574 vehicles in October, compared with 387,232 units produced in the same month last year, according to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
