Sabounjian underscores inspection on food industry

Industry Minister Vrej Sabounjian underscored the necessity for implementing the decision that has jointly been adopted by both the Industry and Agriculture ministries to intensify inspections on food industries. Sabounjian held a meeting on Wednesday at his ministry with a delegation of the Food Industries Owners Syndicate that was chaired by George Nasrawi. The meeting was attended by Industry Ministry director Dany Gedoun. The meeting focused on the necessity for monitoring the safety of food to conform to international standards on the health, cleanness and environmental levels.
