The Middle East’s largest event for the building and construction industry ‘The Big 5’ is an ideal platform for networking and showcasing the new and existing products lineup where decision makers visit from across the region, according to Danube Group managing director Anis Sajan. “The event has been an ideal business platform for construction industry professionals providing us an opportunity to carry on serious business with like-minded professionals and also create a stronger market presence in the region,” Sajan said in a statement. This is even more significant with the biggest edition of the show, which has completed more than 30 years, Sajan said, adding: it’s truly an international stage for the leading construction, building materials and shop fitting industry. The UAE is one of the largest and fastest growing economies in the Middle East. The country has witnessed massive investments in the construction industry from both public and private enterprises during the past few years. By participating at the Big 5 Show Danube aims to expand its reach to various countries over the next six months across the Mena region. This will help the company build connections with the local distributors and manufacturers allowing it to optimise on maximum opportunities. “The UAE economy is stabilising at a steady pace and the current market situation shows increased signs of the industry gaining pace once again. The construction industry today is more consolidated with realistic growth allowing us to optimize on maximum opportunities. There is a definite trend to this year’s event with the Middle East’s construction sector being a key focus for the industry leaders,” according to Sajan. At the exhibition, Danube is hosting two stands one for its product range titled ‘Milano’ and the other featuring the entire range of Danube’s Building materials. Milano displays products such as Luxury Shower Rooms & Sauna, Jacuzzi Bathtubs, Spa, Faucet and Water Heaters. Additionally, Danube’s Building Materials showcases Sanitary Ware, Laminates, Parquet Flooring, ACP, Acrylic & Signage, Door Core, Ceramic Tiles and MDF. Securing a position as a key business driver in the Middle East, the company has been a part of number of substantial projects, including the Burj Al Arab, Yas Islands Development, Meydan Race Course, Dubai Sports City, Motor City, The Palm Jumeirah, and many more.
