Seoul to host international meeting on rebuilding Syria\'s economy

South Korea will host an international conference on the economic reconstruction of war-stricken Syria next month, the foreign ministry said Thursday. The third meeting of the Economic Recovery Working Group for Syria, to be held in Sept. 12 in Seoul, will gather together government officials from about 60 countries, international organizations and officials from the Syrian National Council, the group of opposition forces fighting against the Syrian government.
