
Swedish industrial production in April 2014 increased by 3 percent compared to March this year, corrected for seasonal effects, said the Swedish Central Statistics Bureau (SCB) on Wednesday.
Among the industrial subsectors, development was positive for most of the industries, where production within the industry for electrical equipment and the electronics industry increased the most, according to the statement of SCB.
Furthermore, industrial production in April increased on an annual basis by 0.6 percent.
The strongest development was found within the textile industry, while the aggregate for the chemical industry and the pharmaceutical industry had the weakest development.
During the last three month period, from February to April 2014, production decreased by 0.7 percent compared to the period, from November 2013 to January 2014.
