President Jalal Talabani stressed the Iraq's door are Open for Romanian firms to expand their participation in the investment in Iraq. He said during receiving Romania's Foreign Minister, Titus Corlatean, on Sunday evening, Nov. 4, in Sulaymaniya that Iraq has a strong desire to develop its relations with Romania on all levels, especially economic, trade and cultural; expressing satisfaction with the level of developing bilateral relations, including Kurdistan. He added that Iraq is a vital investment field for many international companies, and circumstances are suitable for Romanian firms to expand their contribution in Iraq's growing investment. For his part, the Romanian Minister conveyed invitation of Romania's President, Traian Basescu, to President Talabani to visit Romania, to consolidate friendship relations between the two countries. President Talabani expressed his acceptance to the invitation asserting desire to work toward consolidate bilateral relations for their mutual interest.
