
Tawazun is getting ready to showcase innovative products and solutions by its group of companies at IWA OutdoorClassics 2014, the world's leading exhibition for high-quality guns and outdoor products, which begins tomorrow in the German city of Nuremberg. The Tawazun stand at IWA Outdoor Classics will feature sections for different group companies, including Caracal International, Merkel and Caracal Light Ammunitions. Chief Executive Officer, Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, said, "We are pleased to be part of IWA OutdoorClassics 2014. This exhibition will provide an excellent platform for us to promote our local defence manufacturing capabilities on the international stage. "The exhibition will also play a vital role through shedding light on our vision that supports the U.A.E.'s ongoing economic development and our unrelenting focus on economic diversification, sustainability, technology transfer and partnerships," he added. Al Hajeri also stated that Tawazun was keen on being present at international exhibitions, "which is important for us to extend our reach and strengthen Tawazun's ties with our global partners and customers." Visitors to the IWA OutdoorClassics 2014 will have sight of recent Merkel products, the latest of which is the Helix TRACKER, which is especially developed for hunting and tracking game from vehicles. Merkel will also display three new shotgun models under the MERKEL CLASSIC banner, which have been developed in cooperation with famous British journalist and shooting instructor, Michael Yardley.
