TIKA\'s support to agriculture sector in Marib discussed

Director of the Agriculture Office in Marib province Majedal-Doais discussed on Saturday with a delegation of the Turkish InternationalCooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) the agency's support to the agriculture sector in Marib.The meeting also discussed the possibility of training and rehabilitation of ruralwomen and developing the capacities of the agricultural cadres and theestablishment of centers for agricultural exports.During its visit to Marib, the Turkish delegation was briefed on the experiences andresearches in the Regional Station for the eastern regions researches and the newvarieties of wheat, mango, sesame and palms.The Turkish delegation also visited Marib Dam ,the irrigation channels andtransforming dams.
