Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said that the unregistered economy rate of Turkey dropped to 27.7 percent. Holding a press conference on Tuesday, Simsek said that the government targeted to decrease the rate of unregistered economy five points within the next ten years. The rate of Turkey\'s unregistered economy had been 32.4 percent in 2002, said Simsek. The government will pursue an effective struggle against unregistered economy, said Simsek, adding that fight against unregistered economy was as important as fight against terrorism.
