UBS trader \'sorry\' for massive losses

Kweku Adoboli, the equities trader accused over the $2.3 billion losses at Swiss bank UBS, is \"sorry beyond words\", his lawyer said Thursday, as he was remanded in custody and a new charge of fraud was added. Defence lawyer Patrick Gibbs told the court in London: \"He is sorry beyond words for what has happened. He went to UBS and told them what he had done, and stands now appalled at the scale of the consequences of his disastrous miscalculations.\"
