US Treasury Secretary, EU official hold talks

European Union\'s (EU) Economy Commissioner Olli Rehn met US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner before G20 finance ministers and central bankers gathered for their second and last day of talks in Paris. Geithner was \"supportive\" of the eurozone crisis resolution strategy that the European Commission presented Wednesday, an EU official told the German Press Agency \"DPA\". The five-point strategy - closely resembling ideas presented earlier by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy - hinges on bank recapitalizations, further debt relief for Greece, bolstering euro bailout facilities and strengthening eurozone discipline rules.
