
The board of directors of Iran\'s largest carmaker, Iran-Khodro Company (IKCO), introduced Hashem Yekkeh Zare as the new CEO and President of the company. During a meeting on Tuesday September 10, which was held in the presence of all the company’s board members, Yekkeh Zare was chosen as the new president and CEO of IKCO, the largest auto-manufacturer in the Middle-East. Also during the meeting, former IKCO President Javad Najmeddin was acknowledged for his work during his management period. Hashem Yekkeh Zare has been an industrial manger for a long time, holding a masters degree in industries engineering from Amir Kabir University and he is now studying PhD in management. Yekkeh Zare was IKCO Diesel Company’s (IKD) CEO and board member. The new IKCO chief has also served as the CEO and board member of IDRO’s Wood Machineries Industries Co., the CEO and board member of Technotar designing and engineering Co. (industrial and car parts making for 5 years), the CEO and board member of Saipa Diesel Co. (for almost 12 years), the CEO and board member of Pars Khodro Co. (for almost 5 years), high adviser in Saipa car making group and senior adviser to IKCO Investment Development Co. Some of his other administrative records include being a board member of the IKCO, Shahab Khodro, MegaMotor and Saze Gostar companies and the chairman of the board of directors in Mehrkam Pars Co. Yekkeh Zare has also been present in some other engine making, gearbox making, and axle making companies as either the board member or the chairman. FH12 truck, Badsan pick-up, Maxima sedan and some other vehicles were introduced to the market during his career in the car making industry.
