
Yemen and Mauritania signed on Thursday in Nouakchott an agreement-in-principle to regulate air transport and a memorandum of understanding allows the immediate operation of both countries\' national carriers. The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (CAMA) Hamed Faraj and General Manager of the Mauritanian National Agency of Civil Aviation (NACA) Abu Bakr al-Sedik Ould Mohammed al-Hasan. Faraj said that the agreement and memorandum were signed on the sidelines of Yemeni-Mauritanian talk session concluded today in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott. The three-day session discussed several topics of cooperation relation between the two countries in air transport and civil aviation, particularly the experience exchange in fields of safety, security and training, he added.
