
Minister of Industry and Trade Saad Eddin Bin Taleb met here on Sunday with a delegation of Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) headed by Secretary General Abdulaziz al-Aqeel. Bin Taleb and al-Aqeel discussed aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the GOIC in the fields of industrial development and human resources as well as how could Yemen benefit from the Organization\'s expertise in various fields. The Minister pointed to the need to open new horizons of cooperation between Yemen and the organization, especially in the technical support of the industrial development and training. He also reviewed the efforts the Ministry has made to conduct the industrial survey in Yemen, whose results will announced soon, and the industrial guideline prepared in collaboration with the private sector, stressing the importance of benefiting from the GOIC experiences in conducting studies on the renewable energy in Yemen. GOIC\'s Secretary General briefed the Minister on the target of the delegation\'s visit to Yemen which aims to get closely acquainted with the advantages of the investment in Yemen in order to provide the possible consulting to Yemen. Al-Aqeel said he would hold meetings with a number of officials and businessmen to strengthen the fraternal ties between the Gulf States and Yemen, and discover the investment opportunities that enhance economic and industrial development.
