Zurich on Sunday launched a major new marketing campaign to support its suite of personal insurance products. The campaign, which is titled ‘Your World. Our Insurance.’ brings to life Zurich’s philosophy of tailoring motor, home and travel insurance to the unique requirements of customers in the UAE. Developed by Zurich’s in-house creative agency, the four-month long campaign features primetime television sponsorships, as well as print, outdoor, radio and digital advertisements. The campaign depicts everyday scenarios from the lives of UAE residents, conveying the message that Zurich understands the way its customers live their lives, and has developed a range of insurance products to suit their needs. “While many people in the UAE are aware of Zurich as a Life insurer, our more recently established General Insurance business is less well known. The ‘Your World. Our Insurance.’ campaign is an opportunity to make customers aware that we also offer motor, home and travel insurance products,” said Maroun Mourad, CEO of Zurich’s General Insurance operations in the Middle East. “From speaking with our target customers in the UAE, it was clear they wanted something that the industry was not currently providing, namely, flexible and reliable insurance products able to meet the unique requirements of UAE residents. Our major new marketing campaign celebrates this individuality and emphasises the importance Zurich places on building protection around the specific needs of the market.” The unveiling of Zurich’s brand campaign follows the launch of a suite of home, motor and travel insurance products, which have a number of new-to-market features. Each product range has pre-defined bundles of cover, but also comes with a range of additional options to allow customers to tailor cover to their individual requirements. For instance, given the high number of people in the UAE who enjoy driving outside the UAE, whether for work or holidays, Zurich’s motor insurance product is available with roadside assistance anywhere within the GCC. Zurich’s home insurance policy offers customers the option of adding “worldwide possessions cover” to their contents insurance, meaning personal items, such as wedding rings and watches, are covered anywhere in the world. Standout features of the insurer’s travel proposition include flexible trip durations, and “missed event” cover, where if a customer has to cancel their trip because of an accident or emergency Zurich will pay for any unused ticket for events such as a concert or sports match.
