Indian billionaire politician killed in national capital

An Indian billionaire and politician-cum-real estate tycoon was shot dead Tuesday at his farmhouse in the national capital by two unidentified gunmen, a senior police official said. The two gunmen, suspected to be contract killers, drove into the 62-year-old Deepak Bhardwaj\'s farmhouse at Rajokri near the border with the suburb of Gurgaon this morning and fired three shots at him. The politician, who was the richest candidate during the 2009 general elections, was declared brought dead at a nearby army hospital,\" he said on condition of anonymity.
