OIC appeals for urgent aid to Niger, Senegal

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu appealed to the member states of the Organization to urgently assist Niger and Senegal after the fall of heavy rains in the two countries last month, which led to great human and material losses. Professor Ihsanoglu urged Member States to carry out their moral duties in solidarity with these peoples affected by floods.
