Beni Sueif Governor Magdy Al-Bitity said on Thursday that workers of the Samsung factory resumed operation after holding activities in protest against low salaries.
The factory's board of directors expressed understanding for the workers' demands and pledged swift response according to the mother company's regulations.
The governor asserted that the workers would not suspend activities once again, adding, he "will not tolerate actions that may affect economy."
