Syrian army targets militants in Aleppo

The Syrian army continued its mop-up operations against foreign-backed militants in Aleppo. Army units foiled an armed group's attempt to attack safe areas in al-Rashedeen, al-Ameria, al-Lairamoun and al-Zahraa Association in Aleppo, inflicting direct loses upon militants. According to a military source, the army units eliminated militants' gatherings and destroyed a number of their vehicles in Deir Hafer, Erbid, the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, Handrat, al-Jubailah, al-Lairamoun, Kafr Hamra, Maaret al-Artik, B'aedin, Bianon, al-Rashedeen and Bani Zaid.
