Tahmina Uddin
I never usually buy products from The Body Shop because I think a lot of their items are a bit overpriced, but when I got this in the sale, I decided to test it out on my slightly sensitive skin...   This product is a nice, thick creamy cleanser which is supposed to help clean the face without causing any irritation. Do I agree? Very much so. As it is designed for sensitive skin, it has no scent to it whatsoever.    This is something that I much prefer as I do not really want my face smelling of mango or grapefruit etc. It is nice and simple and does not irritate my face or eyes (bonus)! Point deux, it is a very basic cleanser. That's not to say it natural or doesn't contain a lot of chemicals etc. It has it's fair share of "typical cleanser" ingredients, however, it is basic in the sense that it does it's job. It can be used either after washing your face with warm water or on a cotton pad. I usually use it after washing my face. If I use it for removing eye makeup (which I do rarely), I would use it on a cotton pad. It works well at taking off regular eye makeup - I do not use waterproof makeup products therefore cannot comment on that part. It does not tighten the skin or make it feel dry in any way, as it is a lotion-cream type cleanser. I would say all skin types can use it, however in saying that, I would recommend those with combination to oily skin to use it as a night cleanser rather than a morning one because of it's thicker consistency. It will last you quite a while, unless of course you are using it to double-cleanse your face. Mine lasted me about five months, where I used it for both double-cleansing and also just cleaning my face once. So it will last you a decent amount of time. In terms of price, I feel it is a tad expensive for 200ml, although you can try it out for £3 for the 60ml version. It cost £8 which I think is a little overpriced for a product that is just so basic. Then again, it works, so I can't really complain. Overall, if you are looking for a very basic simple cleanser that does the job, check this one out. I would definitely recommend this for those of you with very sensitive skin. It's not a product that "wowed" me, but it was nice. Rating: 7/10 Recommend: Yes Repurchase: Yes You can buy it from The Body Shop from £3. Follow @tamiinu_x www.tamiinu.blogspot.co.uk
