Manama - Emirates Voice

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa arrived in the State of Kuwait on a fraternal visit.

HRH the Premier will meet the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister HH Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to discuss the consolidation of bilateral relations and joint cooperation.
HRH the Premier was received on his arrival at the airport by the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, his deputies as well as senior state officials and the ambassadors of the two countries.

In a statement on his arrival, the Premier expressed delight at visiting Kuwait during the blessed days of Ramadan to meet HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

He hailed deep-rooted historic and fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, describing his meeting with the Kuwaiti leaders as an opportunity to appreciate advanced ties and steadily-growing bilateral and GCC cooperation and coordination.

The Premier said that he would seize the opportunity to convey to the Amir of Kuwait as well as his Government and people greetings from the HM the King and the people of Bahrain, hailing their honourable stances in support of the Kingdom.

He said that he would meet the Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister to consult and coordinate stances regarding different issues that concern the two countries.

“The regional security and economic challenges require continuous coordination and unconventional cooperation to overcome them and ensure they don’t impact development in the GCC countries”, he said.

He said that the GCC countries had realised the challenges timely and joined ranks to reach adequate solutions, which yielded political and economic summits and military coalitions, whose impact exceeded the Arabian Gulf to reach the Arab and Islamic nations and the whole world.

“We seize this occasion to express our pride in the crucial role assumed by the Amir of Kuwait to support the Gulf and Arab solidarity”, he said, praying to the Almighty to protect Kuwait and bless it with lasting security, progress and prosperity.
