Wafaa Amer is happy for Sherihan’s return

Egyptian actress Wafaa Amer expressed her pleasure of the success she achieved in her career whether in drama, cinema or theatre, stressing that she enjoys the fans’ reactions to “Karioka” currently presented on one of Egyptian satellite channels. She underlined her efforts to highlight the humanitarian side of a major artist known of her love to her colleagues and to her country Egypt.
She added that she is happy for the return of Egyptian actress Sherihan to perform the same role in the theatre, saying that Sherihan enriched the artistic life in Egypt and the Arab world. She stressed that presentation of this theatrical performance will achieve success, saying that Karioka is one of major artists who can be presented from a different sides.
Amer was keen, during her interview with “Arabs Today”, to praise her successful works during 2016, stressing her pride of the success of her sister Ayten especially when she presented the opening ceremony of Alexandria Festival. She added that she was bearing the responsibility of herself since her early years, saying that she was keen to participate in artistic works during her study to gain more experience.
She praised her roles in “Salt of the Earth” drama show with Egyptian actor Mohamed Sobhy, “Bridge of Danger” drama show with Salah Al Saadany, and “King Farouk”, as she did not rule out the participation with the Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan in drama during the coming period. She said that Ramadan is an intelligent actor, stressing her readiness to work with him if she found a suitable role.
She added that she was hoping to participate with the Egyptian departed actor Ahmed Zaki, saying that she did not find the opportunity to achieve this dream. She added that Zaki was a genius actor whose works will remain in the minds of the fans not only in Egypt but also the Arab world as whole.
She stressed that the Egyptian cinema is active during the current period, while she called for diversifying the kinds of movies and not depending on only one kind. She stressed that she does not mind to participate in any film as a guest of honor, while she underlined the importance of the role’s value.
