HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met Sunday with HE Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Sudan Michael Aron and his accompanying delegation, which includes HE the UK Special Representative for Sudan and South Sudan Chris Trott and HE Director of the UK Department for International Development in Sudan Dr. Chris Beecroft.
During the meeting, they reviewed the progress of the peace process in Darfur, and consolidating the Qatari-British cooperation in that regard.The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Qatar Ajay Sharma and a number of officials at the Cabinet General Secretariat.
