
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Wednesday phoned US Secretary of State John Kerry on regional developments.
The two diplomats discussed the developments in Iraq, Syria and Libya, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The fight against terrorism in Iraq was also discussed, the spokesman said, pointing out that Shoukry stressed the importance of respecting Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
