Between July 17 and August 14, US customs and border import specialists and officers discovered five shipments from China , with each style replicating Louboutin\'s trademark red sole. The shoes, which are said to be \"very good counterfeits\", will most likely be destroyed. Louboutin\'s signature red soles have been the subject of much contention over the past year, the designer is currently embroiled in a high-profile lawsuit with Yves Saint Laurent, who he says has copied his designs. Last month, he lost a court battle with high street chain Zara, over allegations it had replicated one of his designs. The vaunted French designer\'s shoes are worn by celebrities and royalty.
