Thanksgiving travelers will face travel delays on Tuesday and Wednesday as a large storm approaches the East Coast, U.S. meteorologists say. The storm is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rains to much of the east coast, with some areas having the possibility of snow, Accuweather.com reported. Meteorologists say the storm will move east from the Southwest and Texas and up the coast on Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible for southeast states, as well as strong winds as the storm moves north, Accuweather.com said. AccuWeather.com COO Evan Myers: "If the storm hugs the coast and develops to its full potential, it could be a flight nightmare, not only for travelers in the East, but also throughout the nation." If the storm strengthens a great deal, New York City, Hartford, Conn., Boston and other cities in the northeast could see the rain turn to snow, Accuweather.com said.
