Thunderstorms and heavy rain swept over large part of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Tuesday, with streets flooded and traffic disrupted in many cities.
Major cities, including Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar and Tuzla, were hit by thunderstorms in afternoon hours.
In Banja Luka, capital city of Republika Srpska (RS), an entity of BiH, major streets were briefly flooded. The RS meteorological institution issued warnings to several towns and cities due to bad weather.
In Kostajnica in northern BiH, several public buildings including city cinema and library as well as dozens of private houses were underwater.
Landslides were also reported in some parts of the country.
BiH was still struggling to recover from the flooding in May, the worst in some 120 years, with over 20 people killed and hundreds of houses damaged.
