
Indian Ambassador to Egypt Navdeep Suri asserted that the officials of 30 major Indian companies working in different fields will participate in the economic conference due in Sharm el Shiekh in March.
The volume of trade exchange between India and Egypt is five billion dollars and the Indian investments in Egypt reached 2.5 billion dollars via 50 Indian companies in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Ismailia and Giza, Suri said.
This came during Suri's visit on Tuesday to the chamber of commerce in Dakahlia accompanied by Dakahlia Governor Hossameldin Imam and other officials.
The Indian ambassador asserted the depth of relations between both states.
India supports Egypt in its war against terror, Suri added.
