
Aabar Properties, a subsidiary of Aabar Investments PJS, announced the ground breaking of its development at Najmat Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island. Nabil Khoury, Head of Engineering of Aabar Properties and Jamal Tamer, Area General Manager of Arabtec, performed the ground-breaking of the new development at Najmat Abu Dhabi. The ceremony was attended by senior management from both the companies. Elegantly situated at Najmat Marina promenade, the project will offer upon completion a mixed-use development with residential, office and retail components. The 23-storey residential tower will offer a range of neat modern-style apartments, as well as several duplex penthouses with stunning views of the Marina and the City of Abu Dhabi. Khalifa Al Mehairi, Acting CEO, Aabar Properties said: \"Our aim at Aabar Properties is to offer a variety of quality products, be it residential or commercial, which shall cater for an elegant, and when required luxury, lifestyle. The development which is spread across 65,000 square meters will be constructed by Arabtec as the lead Contractor and Confluence as the Project Manager. The project is scheduled to be completed during the third quarter of 2014.
