
The Foreign Trade and Export Support division of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (DED) will hold seminars next month for Abu Dhabi based companies aimed at increasing their exports. These seminars will take place in Madinat Zayed at HCT Men’s College on Sept.3 in Abu Dhabi at Abu Dhabi DED’s main office on Sept.5 and in Al Ain at the Abu Dhabi Chamber on Sept.12. As ADDED works to provide opportunities for companies to grow, one of the focuses will be exporting. Dr Adeeb Al Afifi, Director of Foreign Trade and Export Support commented, “Many companies can sell their goods and services outside the UAE. By doing this it helps reduce their dependence on the UAE market and will contribute to its growth and profitability.” “As companies grow the economy of Abu Dhabi and the UAE grow,” he added. The importance that exporting plays in the development of individual companies and the overall economy is emphasised by the support this series of seminars is receiving.
