Al Masaood Automobiles has launched the all-new Infiniti JX — luxury, three-row, seven seat Intelligent All-Wheel Drive crossover. “The all-new Infiniti JX not only adds a new offering to our model line-up but will also make waves in the Middle East’s luxury automotive market,” said Irfan Tansel. He added: “Infiniti JX has seductive styling, break-through world first technologies, comfortable accommodation for seven adults and an array of features which underline its position as a luxury vehicle.” Infiniti JX is already proving a success in markets where it has already launched, both in sales and media accolades. “In the US, Infiniti JX sold over 2,000 units in its first month then picked up its first major international media award being named to the prestigious Ward’s 10 Best Interiors list for 2012” highlighted Irfan Tansel. The Infiniti JX continues Infiniti’s tradition of developing world’s first technologies, adding a new feature, Backup Collision Intervention (BCI), to the currently available Blind Spot Intervention system. With this technology, when the transmission is in reverse, the JX will help the driver detect crossing vehicles and objects behind the JX, and, if necessary, the system can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision. Humayun Alam, Assistant General Manager AMA, Juergen Schmitz, General Manager, Infiniti Business Unit and Emil Khneisser, Product Manager, AMA were also present for the press conference. “The all-new 2013 Infiniti JX, as Infiniti’s first venture into the three-row luxury crossover segment, is true to both the Infiniti brand and to Infiniti design,” concluded Tansel.
