"The construction contracts that we are in the process of signing today are worth putting under the spotlight as the execution of these projects is a major step within the authority's framework in the field of infrastructure," Al Mawlawi said.
He added that the projects signed since the turn of the year include infrastructure projects worth over QR 22.5 billion and buildings contract exceeding QR 2.5 billion, which, he said, indicates the state's keenness and commitment to "support and implement important development projects." that meet the needs of citizens and residents. "The coming year will also witness the execution of a different set of infrastructure projects within the local roads and drainage program and the development and improvement of facilities," he added.
Al Mawlawi appealed to the public to "understand the importance and the need for implementing these projects," calling on them to "look at the positive impacts that these projects will have on our homeland and on the citizens' lives." He expressed gratitude to Ashghal's infrastructure team of engineers, experts, consultants as well as consulting and construction companies.
