
Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) has been targeting specific foreign investors from countries of growing significance within its tenant make up during 2012. European and American companies topped the freezone’s list of new tenants during the first half of 2012, expected to increase in the latter half of the year following the German, British and American networking events organised recently. The UK, US and Germany have continually been regions of increasing growth for Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA), despite the economic challenges of recent years, representing eight, seven and six per cent of total tenants respectively. Of new tenants at DAFZA in the first half of 2012, European, UK and American companies accounted for more than one third (37 per cent) of the total number.
