The Chairman of the Executive Board of Coca Cola Corporation, Muhtar Kent has said that all developing countries in the world were Turkey's competitors. Speaking at a seminar in Istanbul, Kent said that he was proud of himself at being in charge of world's most valuable company. Reminding that we were living in a competitive world, Kent said, "All developing countries in the world were Turkey's competitors. We need to battle with those rivals as we are battling with competitors in the market. Such as a bicycle...when you stop, you fall down". Stressing the importance of brand, Kent said,"Brand implies an assurance. We need to be aware of this assurance all the time". People all over the world admire Turkey enviously, they do envy us and they also respect us, stated Kent. "Turkish people have incredible management experiences, are very good at crisis management and decision making. Whole western companies need those kind of experiences," he said.
