Several Egyptian companies seek to set up joint projects with their Japanese counterparts, said Head of the Egyptian-European Business Council Mohamed Abu el Enein
Egypt welcomes any joint investments with Japan, he added, noting that Japan can make use of Egypt's geographical location and its free trade agreements, which were signed with the EU, Arab countries and COMESA countries, he added.
He also said that there is a possibility of establishing Egyptian-Japanese projects to produce products of Egyptian origin and export them to Arab, African and European markets.
Egypt's economic conference, which is scheduled to be held in March, will be a great opportunity to explore investment prospects, he said.
