A joint delegation comprising officials from Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) and the Kuwaiti Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) headed to the Kingdom of Thailand on an exploratory business trip. The visit aims to explore means capable of boosting cooperation with Thai firms regarding importation of urea fertilizer and ammonia produced by the two companies.
GPIC last October celebrated a new feat accomplished by the Products Handling and Exports Section at GPIC's Operations Division. GPIC has exported a total of 10 million metric tonnes (mts) of urea granules since it began operation in 1998.
