
The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) won the Arab Corporate Social Responsibility Award2014.
The prize was delivered during a special ceremony for this purpose held by the Arab Corporate Social Responsibility Network in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates under the patronage of Arab League's Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri.
GPIC won the prestigious award in recognition of its social, environmental and sustainable development efforts. The Company considers seriously its social role and responsibilities towards others and strives to reduce environmental damage resultant from operational processes in quest for the cleanest industry for which the company has been as the best example in the entire Gulf region.
GPIC's President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery has expressed his greatest delight for the company's winning prizes in all fields, including the field of corporate social responsibility in which the company is looked at as one of its success pillars.
