IDEX LLC, an ADNEC Group company, has announced its latest sponsorship agreement for IDEX 2015 with Al Taif Technical Services PJSC, a leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services provider for defence-related systems, wholly owned by Mubadala Development Company.
The partnership was made official at a special signing ceremony which took place at Al Taif Technical Services' corporate office.
Along with the U.A.E.'s growing knowledge-based economy, the partnership with Al Taif further supports the strong backing IDEX (International Defence Exhibition and Conference) receives from both manufacturers and suppliers.
"IDEX is the longest running and most well-attended joint defence industry event in the region. Our partnership with Al Taif only further enforces IDEX as the premier location where GCC nations can gather and access the world's cutting edge defence technology," said Saleh Al Marzooqi, IDEX CEO.
"The defence and technology sectors constitute key pillars of Abu Dhabi's Economic Vision 2030and alongside Al Taif we'll continue developing the infrastructure necessary for regional security." "At Al Taif ,our endeavor has always been to be a leader in providing integrated life-cycle support of defence systems to armed forces and to the industry as a whole. We are pleased to work closely with IDEX, and as partners we can provide management and technical expertise, processes, and systems to meet today's defence sector needs," said Ahmad Mohamed bin Adi, CEO of Al Taif Technical Services.
Over two decades since its inception, IDEX has expanded enormously and introduced both NAVDEX, the regional largest maritime defence exhibition, and UMEX, the regions first unmanned systems defence conference, to take place alongside the core IDEX exhibition. This collective offering is genuinely unique and creates a compelling biennial event drawing the world's entire defence industry to the U.A.E. capital. Over 90 per cent of available exhibition space has been reserved by exhibitors for IDEX 2015 which will take place on February 22nd - 26th and provide unparalleled access to the innovative and cutting edge technology that is defining the modern defence industry.
