
Auto parts manufacturer, Kirchhoff Automotive, plans to spend over 22 million U.S.
dollars on its two Polish factories this year.
"This year we plan to spend over 22 million U.S. dollars in total on development,"
said Kirchhoff Polska President Janusz Sobon Friday, adding that the money would
be spent on expanding existing factories in Mielec and Gliwice.
Kirchhoff Polska makes elements for Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, Audi,
Skoda, Porsche, BMW and Daimler vehicles, among other brands. The two plants in
Poland employ over 1,400 people and report total sales of over 300 million U.S.
dollars.
The Kirchhoff Group has factories in 16 countries, employs 11,000 people and has
annual sales of some 2.1 billion U.S. dollars.
