Hotel Shilla's CEO Lee Boo-jin, the eldest daughter in the Samsung Group owner family, was named an outside director of China's largest state-run firm, sources at the hotel said Friday.
Lee was named to the board of CITIC Group Corp. as of Dec. 19, they said. CITIC was established in 1979 as part of China's economic reforms and has current assets of about 750 trillion won (US$684.3 billion). Its business covers finance, insurance, engineering, as well as real estate.
