Samsung dominates Chinese UHD TV market in second quarter

South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. trumped its Chinese rivals to become the top seller of Ultra HD (UHD) TVs in China in the second quarter of this year, data showed Sunday.
Samsung's market share rose to 32.1 percent in the April-June period, up more than six fold from 5.2 percent in the first quarter, according to the data by U.S. market researcher DisplaySearch.
