Samsung to kick off Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders in China this week

Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest maker of smartphones, said Monday it will start receiving pre-orders this week in China for its new Galaxy Note 4 phone, as it grapples with a falling market share in the world's biggest smartphone market due to fierce competition with Chinese brands.
The 5.7-inch Note 4 phone, unveiled at a German trade fair earlier this month, will be available for pre-orders through China's three mobile phone operators as well as Samsung's website from Wednesday, the company said on its Chinese-language website.
