The Serbian Energoprojekt Hidroinzenjering has signed business contracts worth EUR 11 million with the Algerian National Agency for Dams and Transfers. The contracts are related to construction of three dams. These dams are: Seklafa in the Laghouat region, Beni Slimane in the Medea region and Soubella in the M\'Sila region. Seklafa is a concrete dam 47 meters high, while Beni Slimane and Soubella are earth-fill dams, 66 and 67 meters tall, respectively. The period for the implementation of all three projects is set at 46 months. Energoprojekt Hidroinzenjering started working in Algeria soon after the most spacious African country (2.3 million square kilometres) gained independence from France in 1962. Algeria is one of Energoprojekt\'s most important markets when it comes to actual revenues, which is best illustrated by the fact that only through consulting activities the company earned near USD 14 million there in the past ten years.
