Japanese industrial major Sharp, along with its partner, Al Muftah Trading, has launched Qatar’s first commercially available 80 inch AQUOS LED TV, and Sharp’s latest Double French refrigerators. The two new products are part of the “From Bigger to Biggest” products line-up which reiterates Sharp’s position as the leader in LCD/LED TV category thanks to its 10th generation panel technology from a company in its 100th year. The full HD Japanese made panel, Sharp’s flagship 80 inch model LC-80LE940X provides more than twice the screen area of an average 55-inch TV. It also boasts advanced Wi-Fi capabilities, which are further strengthened by Sharp’s smart TV interface, allowing customers to enjoy applications such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. “Our Big AQUOS series fulfils the demand for bigger screens while maintaining affordable prices and energy-efficiency,” said Fred Yamaguchi – group general manager and managing director of Sharp Middle East. Ibrahim al-Muftah, managing director, Al Muftah Group, said: “Sharp has always been a brand of choice for our customers’ looking for lifestyle upgrades.” Sharp’s new Double French Refrigerator SJ-FS85V features four doors, a touch panel control and eco-friendly and long lasting LED lighting. It offers a total of 724 litres of usable capacity for food and beverages storage.
