
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting on Tuesday with a delegation of IBM company under Virginia Rometty, the CEO of the company, said presidential spokesman Ambassador Alaa Yousef.
Present at the meeting was Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmy.
President Sisi welcomed Rometty, voicing aspiration to increase the volume of cooperation between the Egyptian Government and the giant IBM in the field of information technology.
Sisi expressed hope that IBM could increase the volume of projects carried out by the company in Egypt.
For her part, Rometty said that the company is seeking to enhance cooperation with the government and the Egyptian institutions.
The company plans to increase the volume of investments in Egypt and double the number of employees working in the country.
